Treatment and progress
During the initial consultation, the patient was asked whether pain occurred when flexing the elbow with a fist or when flexing the elbow with the hand open. There was no sign of swelling or inflammation in the elbow, but the patient complained of severe pain. Acupuncture was performed on a point near the center of the back. After the treatment, the patient was able to grip and lift objects with almost no pain. The treatment was concluded after the first session.

Summary
For right elbow pain that developed after mowing grass, treatment was performed on acupressure points on the back. After the first treatment, the pain during gripping and lifting movements almost completely disappeared, and the patient reported no pain when they returned for another symptom. This suggests that an approach from the back may be effective when there are no signs of inflammation in the elbow itself.
