For about three months, I have been experiencing tinnitus, feeling hypersensitive to sounds, which has been interfering with my daily life. I have also had headaches for many years, but for the past year or so, I have been experiencing a persistent, tense pain around the temples (around the head) upon waking in the mornings. At its worst, the pain would wake me up, and it was characterized by being heavy and pinpointed. The headaches were mainly severe in the mornings, and the tinnitus tended to be louder when it was noisy outside or when I was trying to fall asleep. Because I would wake up due to the headaches, I was suffering from sleep deprivation, and this lack of sleep and stress worsened the tinnitus and headaches, creating a vicious cycle. A medical institution suspected Eustachian tube dysfunction. I took steroids for a week, but there was no change. I also experienced eye strain and dizziness when looking down.

Treatment and progress
During the initial examination, severe tension was observed in the neck and shoulders. Treatment was performed on acupressure points in the shoulders, neck, and arms. After the first treatment, the patient noticed that shoulder and neck movements became smoother and the tension eased. Treatment continued in the same manner from the second session onward. After three treatments, the tinnitus had decreased from a 10 on a 10-point scale to about a 3 or 4. Although the symptoms sometimes worsened on certain days, they generally subsided and the duration of tinnitus decreased. Eye strain also subsided, and the patient was able to sleep at night, improving their quality of life. Headaches still lingered somewhat upon waking in the morning, but instead of being severe all morning, they subsided within about an hour. After five treatments, the tinnitus was still present but not bothersome, and morning headaches disappeared. Significant improvement was observed after six treatments, so treatment was concluded.
