Neck tremors: Progress report after approximately 8 months — Stable for over 4 months —
symptom
The patient began experiencing neck tremors approximately three years ago. These tremors were triggered by worsening neck and shoulder stiffness and mental stress. The patient had been receiving herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment at another clinic, which showed signs of improvement, but transferred to our clinic due to its closure.
The symptoms at the initial consultation were as follows:
• Chronic neck and shoulder stiffness
• Neck tremors about once a week
• Headaches about once a week
There was no specific diagnosis at the hospital, suggesting the involvement of psychosomatic factors.

Summary
The neck tremors were thought to fluctuate due to muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, and abdomen, as well as the influence of mental stress, the menstrual cycle, and poor physical condition (feeling anemic). The tremors subsided quickly after the start of treatment, and the patient remained stable without recurrence for approximately two months from July 16th.
Subsequently, temporary relapses occurred during the premenstrual period, but these subsided quickly, and the severity of symptoms also decreased. It is believed that the continued relaxation of tension in the neck, shoulders, and abdomen significantly reduced the frequency of relapses.
There have been no recurrences since mid-October, and the condition remains stable as of December. No neck tremors have reappeared since then, and the patient has been able to maintain a good condition by addressing stiffness and anxiety promptly. Currently, the patient is being monitored while continuing maintenance treatments.
