After playing tennis, my right shoulder was throbbing with pain and I had difficulty lifting it.
symptom
I experienced throbbing pain in the front and back of my right shoulder, making it difficult to lift my arm. I could only raise it to about 130 degrees, and lateral elevation to 90 degrees, which interfered with all aspects of my daily life. It had a particularly significant impact when playing tennis, and fatigue after matches triggered the symptoms. I had not received any diagnosis or treatment from a medical institution before, and I had not experienced any other physical discomfort associated with the shoulder pain.

Treatment and progress
Upon initial examination, palpation revealed significant tension and tenderness in the shoulder joint. Acupuncture was performed on points in the back and arm related to shoulder movement, reducing the pain by half, leaving only pain in the front of the shoulder. Subsequently, acupuncture was performed on points in the neck, resulting in complete pain disappearance and a return to normal shoulder range of motion. As improvement in symptoms was confirmed, treatment was concluded after one session.
Acupressure points used
Summary
The pain and limited range of motion in the right shoulder were caused by strain from playing tennis. Acupuncture on points in the back and arm relieved tension in the shoulder, and acupuncture on points in the neck eliminated the remaining pain. The symptoms improved after just one treatment, and there was no longer any interference with daily life or sports activities, demonstrating the effectiveness of approaching the appropriate acupuncture points.
