Pain in the buttocks and thighs during movement after falling while snowboarding.
symptom
I have pain in my buttocks and thigh, mainly during movement. The symptoms started five days ago after I fell while snowboarding. I experience pain when bending over, turning over in bed, and putting on socks, and the pain worsens when I put weight on my right leg. I went to the emergency room and had an X-ray, but no abnormalities were found. I have no other physical discomforts, but it is interfering with my daily life.

Treatment and progress
During the initial consultation, tension was observed in the buttocks and thighs, and acupuncture was performed on points in the lumbar region. Subsequently, discomfort occurred around the ischium, so acupuncture was performed on points in the shin, which resolved the discomfort. After the first treatment, the pain during movement disappeared, and the symptoms improved.

Summary
The pain in the buttocks and thighs was caused by a fall while snowboarding. The pain improved after acupuncture treatment on points in the lower back and shins. Since the pain during movement disappeared after the first treatment and the impact on daily life was reduced, it is considered that the acupuncture treatment was effective. We will continue to monitor the progress of the symptoms and continue treatment as needed.
