I developed facial nerve paralysis, and the right side of my face has become immobile. The symptoms appeared suddenly two mornings ago, and my vision is also blurred. Specifically, I have a dull, throbbing sensation in my right ear, and the right side of my face is constantly immobile. In my daily life, my eyes are dry because I can't close them, and I'm having trouble speaking. I had to take time off work and was diagnosed with "facial nerve paralysis" at an ENT clinic. I'm also complaining of blurred vision, headaches, and stiff shoulders.

Treatment and progress
At the initial consultation, the patient was found to be unable to close their eyes or move their mouth. Treatment was performed on the back of the head, around the shoulder blades, acupressure points on the hands, and the temples. No significant changes were observed after the first treatment, but after the second treatment, the patient's speech became easier and their nasal congestion improved. After the fourth treatment, the movement around the eyes and mouth improved significantly, and by the end of the sixth treatment, the patient had almost fully recovered, so the seventh treatment was the final one. No relapses or new symptoms were observed during the treatment period.

The early initiation of acupuncture treatment is believed to have contributed to the favorable outcome. Symptoms improved with each treatment, and the changes were particularly noticeable after the second treatment.
