Headache, pain behind the eyes

I've had headaches since I was in my 30s.
For the past 10 years, I've had pain deep in my eyes and have been taking over-the-counter headache medication once or twice a week.
Recently, the patient had been taking headache medication almost daily and had visited the clinic several times for treatment for acute lower back pain, so they consulted me about this issue.

Treatment and progress
Acupuncture was performed on three points on the back that are related to congestion in the back of the head.
The pain behind my eyes and headache improved immediately, and I was able to go a week later without taking any medication until my second visit.
Since medication was not needed even after a two-week interval between the third and fourth treatments, the procedure was concluded.

Summary
The headache, particularly the pain behind the eyes, was caused by a blockage in the back of the head, and there was a reaction in the related acupuncture points on the back, so a small number of needles were sufficient to produce results.
I was surprised that after just four treatments, I no longer needed to take headache medication.
