I was diagnosed with tennis elbow.
symptom
In July, I experienced pain near the outside of my right elbow and visited an orthopedic clinic where I was diagnosed with tennis elbow. I was prescribed painkillers and patches, which I have used, but the pain persists when I twist my hand or lift heavy objects. I visited the same hospital three times for follow-up observation, and on the third visit, I purchased and wore a support brace. However, I felt that the pain was only relieved while wearing it and not a fundamental treatment. Regarding subsequent treatment options, I was advised to receive painkiller injections, but I hesitated due to the possibility of recurrence and the inability to administer them frequently.
While searching for alternative methods, our clinic came up in the search results.

Treatment and progress
The treatment was performed once a week for a total of three sessions. The progress is as follows:
In the first session, we focused on improving the tenderness and pain during movement (flexion) observed on the outer side of the right elbow.
Acupuncture was performed on related points on the back and head, and both symptoms disappeared. Due to the nature of the patient's work, there was significant tension in the lower body, so that was also addressed.
The second time, the patient said, "It's not as painful as the first time, but it hurts when I lift heavy objects or do something while gripping something."
In addition to the initial acupressure points, the treatment involved relieving tension in the rib cage.
After the third visit, the doctor said, "The remaining pain is only about a level 1 or 2, and I'm feeling much better."
The procedure was performed as before. Later, after receiving a report that the patient's condition was progressing well, it was decided that the treatment would continue for maintenance purposes.

Summary
Since the elbow problem was affected by the conditioning of the back, we focused our treatment on that area. The patient's job involved standing and operating machinery, and being small in stature, they compensated for the lack of movement by using their entire body. From this perspective, being able to focus on the movement of the back, especially the ribs, was the most important point in this case.
