For about a week, I've been experiencing a throbbing pain from the side of my head to the back of my head. Initially, it often occurred during work or in the evenings, but in the last few days it's also been happening in the mornings, and on bad days, it bothered me all day long. Yesterday, I took an over-the-counter pain reliever, which has eased the pain somewhat, but I also have stiff shoulders and back tension, so I consulted you about those as well.

Treatment and progress
The patient exhibited heat from the back of the head to the neck and back, while the pelvic girdle, including the buttocks and abdomen, and the toes were cold. Since there was significant stiffness, particularly in the upper shoulders, these were used as indicators for treatment.
I focused on acupoints in the hands, feet, and sacrum, and performed treatment to guide the heat stagnating in the upper body down to the lower body. I also paid attention to the movement of the neck, particularly improving lateral flexion. As a result of this treatment, the following changes occurred.
After the first treatment, the patient reported, "My hands and feet felt warmer, and my headache was reduced by about 80%."
After the second treatment, she said, "I can go about my day without feeling any shoulder stiffness."
Significant changes were observed. A total of three treatments were performed, and since the patient was able to manage without taking medication after the first treatment, the progress was deemed good and the treatment was concluded.

The key point was that, since the patient's body was in a state of overheating, I focused on creating a heat pathway during the treatment.
By focusing on the stiffness that was present and guiding the heat that had been stagnating in the upper body to the lower body, the client was delighted to see an improvement in even the coldness in their hands and feet.
