I hurt my arm while holding the baby.
symptom
I often babysit my grandchildren, and I'm always supporting their heads with my left forearm. For about a month now, the area near my elbow has been hurting, and it hurts even when I'm still.
I experience a dull ache while driving, both when I hold the steering wheel and when I twist my arm to turn it.
Because I have a job that requires me to stand a lot and use my hands frequently, I have often experienced pain in my hands and fingers.

Treatment and progress
Comparing the left and right arms, no visible differences such as swelling were observed. However, lightly pressing on the affected area revealed tenderness and a feeling of tightness.
Upon touching the area near the outer edge of the scapula at the base of the arm, I felt significant tension, and after inserting acupuncture needles there, the pain subsided.
Next, upon examining the back, I noticed significant tension in the erector spinae muscles, so I inserted acupuncture needles there.
The pain had almost completely subsided, but there was still some tightness in the forearm, so acupuncture was performed on pressure points in the arm to conclude the treatment.

Summary
When examining pain in the elbow, arm, or hand, it is necessary to broaden the field of view and observe the condition of the area around the spine, which is the starting point of arm movement, as well as the base of the arm.
In this case, significant tension was observed in the area described above, and the pain was relieved by inserting acupuncture needles into that area.
