A shoulder injury caused by practicing Iaido sword swings
symptom
Nine months prior to his visit, he was practicing Iaijutsu sword swings when he snapped his shoulder, and the pain worsened the next day. Since then, the pain has been getting better and worse. He was told by a medical institution before visiting our clinic that it was due to overuse, so he tried to avoid using the exercise, but the pain did not go away. He was able to move his shoulder when he visited, but the pain was bothersome and made it difficult to move. He also reported pain around his elbow and the ball of his foot.

Treatment and progress
Initial consultation: There was significant stiffness in the central area of the shoulder, so I used acupressure on the buttocks to loosen it up. Immediately afterwards, shoulder movement became smoother and the pain decreased.
Second visit: The shoulder pain and pain in the ball of the foot disappeared. The patient was concerned about the remaining stiffness around the elbow and in the front of the chest. After acupuncture on the back and arm, both of these symptoms disappeared, so the treatment was completed.

Summary
It was thought that the pain was continuing because something was hindering shoulder movement. By adjusting the movement from the base of shoulder movement and making it easier to move, the pain was eliminated.
