Hay fever while breastfeeding and wanting to avoid medication
symptom
I've suffered from hay fever since I was a teenager. My main symptoms are itchy eyes, runny nose, and nasal congestion. I usually start experiencing symptoms in January or February. The worst symptoms are in my eyes, followed by my nose. I sometimes feel an itchy throat as well. The itchiness in my eyes gets worse at night and after taking a bath. I also sometimes feel a slight tingling sensation deep inside my ears. Eye drops relieve the itchiness, but since I'm breastfeeding, I want to avoid using medication as much as possible.

Treatment and progress
During the first consultation, a significant reaction was observed in the shoulder and back area, which is related to the itchy eyes, so acupuncture was performed to relieve the tension.
On the day I went home after my second visit, I didn't need to use eye drops in either eye. The next day, after bathing, I felt itchy eyes. I also have an itchy throat.
Third visit: I'm not using eye drops anymore. My throat is itchier than last week. There was a lot of tension in the back of my neck, so acupuncture was performed to relieve it.
Fourth visit: The itching in the eyes and throat has decreased, and the symptoms have almost completely subsided. Treatment was performed to maintain the good condition.

Summary
It's believed that itchy eyes caused by hay fever are also triggered by heat accumulating in the face. While the same basic principles apply to runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing, the specific areas where each symptom manifests a more pronounced reaction differ slightly, requiring tailored treatment for each individual. Focusing on the right points led to faster improvement.
